Pittsburgh Alpacas is a small farm - and a champion of the small farmer.  Located about 35 minutes north of Pittsburgh 8.5 acres with 9 alpacas, two dogs, two cats a small orchard, small vineyard and pond.  It's a little piece of heaven.

Looks like a rat pack, huh?  All three of the younger alpacas are posed here.  Front left is the youngest: Maz, born in late July.  Behind him is the oldest; Willa born a year ago June.  And to the right is Lera, and early June 08 gal. They are all lookers!   Lot's more pictures  of this summer's birth's is  here...

What's the difference between an alpaca and a llama?

Llamas (like this one in the picture) have flat heads - no top knot - and are like five times as big as an alpaca.  They are all within the same family but (and this may be a personal prejudice) alpacas are definitely cuter! Click here to learn more.
